4.       Discuss what you have learned during the class and how it will assist you in achieving further academic and work related goals.
5.       If you could do any assignment over this year, which one would it be and why?
6.        What are 3 words you would use to describe this class?
7.       How did your computer skills grow or improve over the course of the year?
8.       What were your greatest challenges or lessons learned?

In this year, I learn lots of knowledge in this class such as how to use PowerPoint to make a animation, how to use Excel to managed the data and how to use it to calculations, graphs, and statistical analysis. I can use that knowledge to managed the data that I won't mess the data, I can control the data easier. I want to learn the higher level of PowerPoint and Access next year.  PowerPoint is useful in our life, we need to use PowerPoint a lot, many homework or project need to use PowerPoint, and lots of features that I never know in PowerPoint. In this year, I need to learned a lot of vocabulary about computer, I need to know this vocabulary to do my project, my class work. because if I don't know this vocabulary, I don't know how to use this feature in the software.  The knowledge that I learn in this class that let me improve my computer skill. That is useful when I have a job, because most of the job need to use computer, need to know some of the computer skills. Three words that I want to describe this class is awesome,  helpful and easy. I love to learn how to make a website. It has fun. But it has lots of work to do when we create a new website, but if I know how to make a website very well, I have a new computer skill.

My topic is about Japan earthquake in 2011. During this earthquake, lots of people died and lost their family. I want other people can help Japan out, help them rebuild their country. also I want others can prepare for the earthquake. When the earthquake come, people know how to protect themselves. That can reduce death and injury in the natural disasters. I want other people can learn from this topic. From this topic, you can see there have many caring person help Japan out. even though one person donate one dollar but that still can help Janpan a lot, baecause that have about 307,006,550 people in the U.S and have about 1,331,460,000 people in China, if one person donate one dollar to Janpan. that have lots of money to help Japan.

The Japan earthquake has been eye opening for me. It’s devastating to see what nature can do. We don't know when is the earthquake happen again. The things that seem stable,  but really aren't. The Japan earthquake start on 11 March 2011, it caused by a 9.0-magnitude undersea mega thrust earthquake off the coast of Japan. later, many people think the earthquake was gone. Unfortunately, the earthquake was happen again on Thursday 7 April 2011. Miyagi earthquake was a magnitude 7.1 Mw earthquake. Don't live near a nuclear plant, nuclear plant can affect people's health. When the earthquake happen, maybe the nuclear plant will leak some. That will produce Radiation. that may affect people's life. Also, We need to stored some food. When the disaster happen, Lots of market will crash. so we need to stored some food to prepare for the unexpected occurrences.

The 2011 Tōhoku earthquake and tsunami was caused by a 9.0-magnitude undersea mega thrust earthquake off the coast of Japan that occurred at 14:46 on Friday, 11 March 2011. The Japanese government has officially named the disaster resulting from the earthquake and tsunami the "Great Eastern Japan Earthquake". The Japanese has officially confirmed 12,087 deaths, 2,876 injured and 15,552 people missing. Cars, ships and buildings were swept away by a wall of water after the 8.9-magnitude tremor, which struck about 400km (250 miles) north-east of Tokyo.

The devastating earthquake measuring 8.9 struck Japan on Friday had its epicentre near the east coast of Honshu. The epicentre was at a depth of 24.4 kilometres. Another earthquake of magnitude 7.2 struck east of Sendai.

  • People under a table while a strong earthquake strikes eastern Japan

  • what to do in an earthquake?
    1. If you're indoors, stay there. Get under -- and hold onto --a desk or table, or stand against an interior wall. Stay clear of exterior walls, glass, heavy furniture, fireplaces and appliances. The kitchen is a particularly dangerous spot.
    2.  If you’re in an office building, stay away from windows and outside walls and do not use the elevator.
    3. If you're outside, get into the open. Stay clear of buildings, power lines or anything else that could fall on you.
    4. If you're driving, move the car out of traffic and stop. Avoid parking under or on bridges or overpasses. Try to get clear of trees, light posts, signs and power lines. When you resume driving, watch out for road hazards.
    5.  If you're in a mountainous area, beware of the potential for landslides. Likewise, if you're near the ocean, be aware that tsunamis are associated with large earthquakes. Get to high ground.
    6.  If you’re in a crowded public place, avoid panicking and do not rush for the exit. Stay low and cover your head and neck with your hands and arms.

Left: Triangle of Life                         Right: Wrong Area

I want to chose this topic because I want to know what happen in Japan, and want to know what to do in earthquake,  that I can tell others how to protect themselve during earthquake. Also I want other people can help Janpan, even though donate $1 that will help them a lot.

The Tokeyo is situated on Japan's main island It's turn sits at the intersection of three continental plates, the Philippine Sea plates , Eurasian, and Pacific. They are slowly grinding against each other, building up enormous seismic pressure that every so often is realised with ferocious force. That is why the Japan earthquake happen.
